Before starting searches in the Trademark Database, please read carefully the following information. This database contains trademarks and trademark applications that have already been applied or registered by the Industrial Property Office, WIPO (with designation CZ or EU) and OHIM. Especially data gained from foreign databases may embody certain inaccuracies, on which removal is continuously worked. NOTE: Valid list of goods and services is in czech language only. English translation of this list can contain certain discrepancies. Only the data source "IPO" and czech terms can be used when searching according to specific goods and services from the list.
- Database of the Well-known Trademarks
Before starting searches in the Database of Well-Known Trademarks, please read carefully the following information. This database contains an informative overview of trademarks, the individual proceedings of which (see the numbers of files) have proved general recognition. Recognition of general recognition of a trademark has respect only to the proceedings, in which that general recognition has been applied and it does not acquit its owner of the duty of providing evidence in case of new filings of objections or proposals of cancellation according to the Law No. 137/1995 Coll., on Trademarks as amended and of the Regulation No. 213/1995 Coll., on the Enforcement of the Law on Trademarks.
The overview does not contain trademarks, which were proclaimed as the trademarks of exceptional reputation according to the § 18 of the Law No. 174/1988 Coll., (pdf 80,9 kB) on Trademarks.
