Basic service provided by IPO at the hand of public reading room is lending of documents for in-house use. The visitor of reading room has the possibility to borrow patent literature, especially complete descriptions of inventions or parts of national or foreign granted patents, published patent applications, registered utility models and industrial designs and individually study in these documents. Interested persons have supporting literature at their disposal. The supporting literature includes above all IPO Bulletins and bulletins of patent offices of other countries. During the study of patent documents can the users use annual lists of granted titles of protection for inventions, classification documents, lists of single editions of IPC (international patent classification) etc. For better orientation in information about industrial property rights is also important non-patent literature, which includes scientific periodicals, monographs and dictionaries (thesaurus).
