International
The Czech Republic is a member of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), which is an important international organization in industrial property protection field, and contractor of many multilateral international treaties concerning protection of industrial property administered by this organization. The Czech Republic is further a member of the European Patent Organization (EPO) and contractor of European Patent Convention, which is administered by the EPO. It is also contractor of Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) administered by the World Trade Organization (WTO).
